Gainesville, FL, March, 2 2011- Delta Sigma Pi professional business fraternity has chosen Group Interactive Networks (GIN) to provide its 200+ undergraduate chapters with a web-based Chapter Portal for members and a customized tab for chapter Facebook Pages.
With the GIN System Chapter Portal, each chapter has an easy-to-use members-only area that facilitates chapter communication and management. "We are excited about this partnership," said Ethan Fieldman, GIN's President. "We know that GIN Systems will really streamline the business of Delta Sigma Pi's chapters. Our staff has already trained over 285 officers and advisers in just a few weeks." A GIN System was recently created for every collegiate chapter of Delta Sigma Pi and includes an online calendar, e-mail and text messaging groups, private file sharing, surveys/polls, and other tools that are proven to simplify chapter communication. GIN's Headquarters Communication System allows Delta Sigma Pi's Central Office to mass-post files, announcements, and calendar events directly into chapter GIN Systems with one click. Members can also access both their Central Office and chapter information from Facebook or their iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch to stay connected on the go. "Delta Sigma Pi is linked to fostering the study of business within universities and we are focused on developing intelligent communication practices that further our organization. Our efforts, coupled with those of Group Interactive Networks (GIN), have allowed Delta Sigma Pi brothers to communicate more efficiently. With the launch of GIN Systems for every chapter, we think that it has begun to evolve our Fraternity toward a new age of communication," said Bill Schilling, executive director. "We are really happy to have the opportunity to expand our work with Delta Sigma Pi," added Fieldman. "GIN designed the Delta Sigma Pi national website (http://www.dspnet.org/ ) and has provided their online learning tools, so this is a natural evolution of our partnership."
